Big Little Lies: Reseña

Big Little Lies: Review

IMG_2387.jpgFor months a good friend of mine insisted I should read Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. For months I told my good friend I was not interested in a book about divorced parents bickering to each other. She insisted and told me it would break my reading slump. I still said no. When we met for lunch she took the book out of her purse and told me “You are reading it”. I said I would read it once I finished the two books I’ve been stuck with for months now (hence the book slump she was talking about). I wasn’t interested in reading this book, and I could see she went from super excited about sharing it with me to “maybe you won’t like it, I made such a big deal out of it and it probably won’t live to the hype.” Well, my dear friend Edith, it did. You were right, I was wrong. Thank you for forcing me to read it; once I stared it I couldn’t put it down. The book slump was over.
